ReConnect, Inc. was chosen by the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council to visually showcase all that we're doing in the Omaha metro community for Omaha Gives! 2017.
This year, ReConnect, Inc. is raising the bar and hoping to raise $5,000 for educational resources and supplies for the Triage Youth Summer Program to help our youth with life-long personal development skills, tools, books, and materials for our Tool Box Credentials Training Program, and help providing financial assistance to our clients through bus passes, birth certificates, and government identification in order to help their reentry to society remain a productive, successful one.
What is Omaha Gives!?
"Omaha Gives! is a year-round online giving platform organized by the Omaha Community Foundation. The main goal of Omaha Gives! is to inspire the local community to come together for 24-hours to financially give as much as possible to support the work of public 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the metro area. The minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum. Last year, the Omaha community raised nearly $9 million for local nonprofits."
